As a 13 person group, our team is creating a master plan for the former University City High School Site. Our goals is to bring new life to the West Powelton neighborhood by providing specialized community functions (ex. library, grocery store daycare and community, public outdoor spaces and attractive retail).

     My assignment is to build a community center in the center open space, that gives me a great opportunity to design a gathering space for group acttivities and social support. The building is divided into two main parts, the upper level meeting room and the lover level activates space. In order to accommodate various functions, the spaces have walls that open to the outdoors.
